History of Roulette

Roulette in French means “small wheel”.  It is a little vague but it is alleged that roulette first originated in the late 1700’s, in England.  When playing roulette at online casinos, at online gambling, the roulette table layout is practically the same since it was first planned by the Blanc brothers who operated the world-wide famous Monte Carlo Casino.

Roulette has always attracted sophisticated players to online casinos and is one of the most recognizable symbols in gambling. When playing roulette at an online casino, it is very much the same as playing roulette at a real brick and mortar casino. Online gambling can even be more fun since you are free to play when and where you want at a host of online casinos.

Roulette is one of the easiest games to play and to understand in the gambling casino or when playing at an online casino.  The roulette wheel traditionally consists of 37 or 38 numbered slots, depending on where or what form of roulette you are playing. The numbers 1 to 36, a zero, and in the majority places in the United States, a double zero. The betting layout for roulette is made up of each individual number as well as a multitude of “outside” or combinations of numbers. Following the players placing of their bets the dealer spins the roulette wheel and inserts a ball onto the wheel and after several seconds the ball settles into one of the numbered slots.
